Accessibility to quality menstrual hygiene products is a basic human right. Sadly, many females are devoid of this bare necessity of life. They often end up using rags, cloth or other unhygienic material that can lead to medical issues like reproductive tract infection (RTI).

Santex Products is working towards integrating menstrual education as part of reproductive studies and enlightening specially among adolescents.

Quality Education

The onset of menstruation cyclic is a psychologically disturbing time for many young girls. It brings about an end to adolescence. This leads to life altering changes - it is an unfortunately stark reality of life that for a huge strata of young females, it entails an end to their education. At the very least, girls miss school at the start of their menstruation due to a lack of understanding of how to manage their periods.

Santex Products is working towards building teacher capacity. We at Santex Products firmly believe that confident, well aware resourceful teachers can educate and prepare young minds for challenges ahead.

Gender Equality

Menstruating girls are NOT inferior to boys. It is a natural process that is part of a normal reproductive cycle.

Santex Products is working towards addressing these taboos, promoting positive norms towards menstruation that can be managed hygienically, safely and with dignity. Santex Products has conducted door-to-door campaigns that bring females an easy access to hygiene products helping them cope in comfort with an increased sense of self confidence.
